Social
Ministries are the backbone within the life of Trinity
Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Monetary support is given to Covenant House, RCCR
(Religious Coalition for  Community
Renewal), and the Interdenominational Council.
Additionally, 228 food baskets were donated this last
Christmas to Covenant House to be distributed to the
needy. Volunteer support is given at many local
charities including the Clothing Closet, Manna Meals,
the Union Mission, Sojourner's, the Samaritan
Inn, the Men's Shelter, Covenant House, the local
hospitals, local Nursing Homes and RCCR.
Additionally,
DivorceCare and DivorceCare
4 Kids is offered twice a year to those in the
community seeking Christian support during divorce. Faithful
Needles and the Prayer Shawl
Ministries are busy making needed items at area
hospitals, pediatric units, and other missions.
